VIRAL : CRYING BATO - PNP Chief Dela Rosa! Find Out The Reason Behind!

Philippine National Police (PNP) Director General Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa is known for being aggressive and intense, just like the one who appointed him in the position (President Rodrigo Duterte). However, he has his own moments too. In the recent probe of the Philippine Senate about the policemen’s involvement in drug-related killings, Bato Dela Rosa shed tears in the session.
According to ABS-CBN News, Bato Dela Rosa got extremely upset and raised his voice as he denied that PNP had any policy to kill drug suspects at the hearing conducted in the Senate on Tuesday, September 5, 2017. The report noted that the government officials are investigating the recent controversial killings in police operations.

When Senator Risa Hontiveros questioned him, Bato Dela Rosa said:
“Masakit ‘yung magpapakamatay kami para sa inosenteng tao tapos sasabihin ninyo may polisiya kami sa pagpatay. I am with you in that quest for justice (for extra judicial killings), but sana ‘yung hustisya din para sa mga pulis ko.”

He was triggered when Hontiveros cited that the PNP appeared to be empowered by the culture of killing people. She said in the investigation:
“May polisiya na nagdidikta sa kultura ng patayan na nangyayari sa ating bayan. There’s a system to the killings. There’s a method to the madness.”

However, the Senator clarified that she was referencing Duterte’s policy on the “War on Drugs” campaign and not on the PNP director’s performance.

Bato Dela Rosa cited how the Senate has judged the organization before, He said :

"Mamatay man ako ngayon, walang sinabi si Presidente sa akin na pumatay kami ng pumataya.
Paano ko dipensahaan yung organisasyon ko kung utak niyo sarado na?"

The Senate committee invited peole to attend to their hearing on public order and dangerous drugs that arose after the widely controversial killing of 17-year-old Kian Delos Santos.
