On April 30, Sunday, netizens went wild when a footage of an alleged government employee physically assaulting a tricycle driver went viral. The incident happened in Guiuan, Eastern Samar.

Netizens expressed their furious sentiments when they saw that a police officer was near the area. However, the police officer wasn’t able to do anything. According to them, he just stood there while the assault happened.
The source wasn’t able to mention the reason as to why the man beat up the tricycle driver. However, Facebook fan page ‘Trending Newsfeed Info’ disclosed the picture of the man responsible for the physical assault.

According to the fan page, the man is from Eastern Samar and that he is a government employee. Although it didn’t mention his name, Facebook user Ely Ballesteros commented that he was actually a discharged Special Action Forces (SAF) member of the PNP.
He based his statement on an alleged report that he heard from radio host Raffy Tulfo. Tulfo reportedly stated that the plate number of the man belonged to a judge.

As of now, authorities are still looking for the man and he is still yet to be identified.
