Liza Soberano continues to rise to the top after bagging the much-coveted role of Darna in the newest film adaptation that’s helmed by renowned director Erik Matti.
She’s currently busy being trained by celebrity trainer Bok Santos so as of now, she could only guest in some shows and events. One such event that she recently partook in was the “ASAP Live in Toronto,” where she appeared with onscreen partner Enrique Gil.

A certain event organizer of “ASAP Live in Toronto” disclosed that the actress received around P3 million for the three-hour event. If she is paid by the hour for her appearance, then she might have received such a large amount.
The report noted that the event marked ABS-CBN International’s 10th year in Canada, as well as their 150th birthday.
More than 35 Kapamilya talents graced the event, such as Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera, ZsaZsa Padilla, Piolo Pascual, Jolina Magdangal, Jona, Morissette, Klarisse, Angeline, Jay-R, KZ, Jason Dy, Daryl Ong, Kyla, Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson, Elmo Magalona, Janella Salvador, Julia Barretto, Joshua Garcia, Maja Salvador, Enchong Dee, Rayver Cruz, Yassi Pressman, Robi Domingo, Bea Alonzo, Paulo Avelino, Sam Milby, Richard Yap, Jodi Sta. Maria, and Ogie Alcasid, among others.
There were some netizens who expressed their thoughts in the comments section and stated that it might have been because she was endorsing Samsung at the time.
They alleged that the technology manufacturer may have paid her to commercialize their product while she was at the event.
According to The Summit Express, Liza is an active endorser of their phones. They noted that she’s the official ambassador of Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro. Samsung Philippines released a statement that said:
