Korean darling and the Philippines’ “Pambansang Krung-Krung” is back and once again making Filipinos fall in love with her quirkiness. That’s right, Sandara Park is alive and breathing in the humid Philippine air!
According to ABS-CBN News, Sandara joined the noontime variety show It’s Showtime this Monday, May 8th. However, she suffered an accident – Sandara fell out of her chair! She was actually part of the panel of judges in the ‘Twin It to Win It‘ segment of the variety show.
In the video uploaded by the website, Sandara asked why she doesn’t have any standee in the studio, unlike Lee Min Ho and Gong Yoo. Lee Min Ho stars in the Korean fantaserye Legend of the Blue Sea while Gong Yoo appears in Goblin. Apparently, both of them have standees in the set while Sandara, a returning celebrity, doesn’t have any.
She jokingly lamented this fact and said, “Bakit wala akong upuan?” The hosts of the program, Billy Crawford and Vhong Navarro, asked Ryan Bang to come. Ryan immediately went by Sandara’s side and posed.
To her pleasure, Sandara stood beside him. Vice Ganda went on to chat with Ryan but suddenly, in the middle of this, Sandara fell from her chair! She said, “Nagulat ako, si Ryan..” Meanwhile, Ryan helped her from her position.
“Dara, okay ka lang?” Vhong asked.
“Nagulat ako si Dara kararating lang, asa Korea agad!” Vice joked with a gesture of his hand. “Bumalik ng Korea!”
Ryan repeatedly exclaimed that he didn’t kick her, to which Sandara only laughed and said, “Buhay pa ako. Okay lang,” she said.
“Paki-score,” Billy jokingly said. Vice Ganda immediately shouted, “Madlang people, anong score niyo kay Dara!”
Everyone laughed but the hosts asked Sandara once again if she was okay. Sandara replied, “Okay laang!”
The source cited that Sandara is on the show in order to invite people to support her latest film One Step, which is inspired by the American movie Begin Again. Apparently, the movie gained so much popularity among the Koreans that they have produced a movie out of it.
“Congratulations, na-fall sa’yo si Bang!” Vice quipped. Sandara only laughed.
