Foreigners flock to the Philippines to experience our lush tropical climate. We are one of the best countries to vacation with the utmost of freedom in the world plus we have outstanding beaches after all. Unfortunately, not all foreign nationals here in the country are on vacation—some, believe it or not, have been left in poverty, wandering the streets.
An American man was seen in the street on Imus, Cavite, singing and asking for alms. He then sat on the sidewalk as soon as he got tired.
On Facebook, Pepe News is encouraging netizens to share the post online to be able to reach and let the US Embassy know the man’s situation. The post reads:
One netizen claimed he’d seen the man in 2012 apparently pleading for his Filipina wife and kids to come back to him.
“Siya yung may video dati na nagmamakaawa sa kalive in niyang pinay na bumalik na kasama mga anak nila.. way back 2012 or earlier ko pa ata napanood yun. Grabe now talagang pinabayaan na siya ng tuluyan.. kaawa awa naman,” the netizen commented.
