A video that was filmed in Spain has shown a rare phenomenon, a caul birth!
The video showed how a baby was delivered while still inside an intact amniotic sac. This is more commonly known as a caul birth that happens one in ever 80 thousand births.
Elle Griffiths mentioned that the video that was recorded in Spain showed how this baby was delivered with the membrane covering its entire body and still on the amniotic fluid. It was also stated that the baby was surgically delivered a few minutes after its twin was delivered normally.
The footage showed the mesmerizing newborn baby all curled up inside the clear sac that tightly stretched around its body.
You can also see in the video that the baby was moving occasionally with the umbilical cord visible.
For normal circumstances, the amniotic sac breaks because of the strenuous process of labor and delivery.
The doctors and even the nurses then gathered around the newborn to witness and to take advantage of such rare phenomenon.
