Being known as a simple and humble man,
President Rodrigo Duterte is not keen on protocol.
Although this may seem disturbing to some, others
admire the President's tendency to
shrug off formalities whenever he feels like it.
And this is what the
Rizal day crowd in
Luneta witnessed after President Duterte went under a cordon in order to get to the people and greet them.
The President even took his time in talking with the
people as well as listening to what they were saying.
Before the incident, he also visited a medical, dental and optical mission held at the Noli Me Tangere Garden and bonded with the crowd as he generously allowed them to take selfies with him.
